1. About Rihfel

Rihfel Mobility is a mobility marketplace operated by Rihfel Group. Rihfel provides a technology platform through which eligible customers may discover, book, and use vehicles made available through the platform.

Vehicles may be supplied by independent vehicle hosts or by Rihfel itself. The specific commercial and operational terms applicable to a booking may therefore vary depending on the vehicle, host, location, and service selected.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Rihfel website, application, or related services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use and any additional terms, policies, or booking conditions that apply to the service you use.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Rihfel platform or services.

3. Eligibility

You must satisfy all eligibility requirements applicable to the service you are requesting. These may include minimum age, possession of a valid driving licence, identity verification, payment eligibility, geographic eligibility, and any vehicle-specific requirements.

Rihfel may require additional verification before allowing a user to make or continue a booking.

4. Accounts and User Information

Certain Rihfel services require you to create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for protecting your login credentials.

You must not create an account using another person's identity, provide misleading information, or allow another person to use your account where such use is prohibited.

5. Identity and KYC Verification

Rihfel may use third-party identity verification and KYC providers to verify users and assess eligibility for its services.

You agree to provide truthful and valid information and to complete verification when required. Verification may be repeated where required by law, the verification provider, changes to your information, expiry of verification, or operational or risk requirements.

6. Vehicle Bookings

Vehicle availability, pricing, booking requirements, pickup or delivery arrangements, security deposits, protection products, and other conditions are displayed or communicated during the booking process.

A booking becomes effective only when the booking status shown by Rihfel indicates that it has been confirmed. A payment being initiated or received does not necessarily mean that a booking has been confirmed where Rihfel approval is expressly required.

7. Pricing and Payments

Prices may vary based on factors including vehicle category, rental duration, demand, location, availability, season, advance booking period, promotions, and other marketplace conditions.

The applicable price and charges presented during the booking process will form the basis of the confirmed booking, subject to the applicable booking terms.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. Rihfel may receive and process payment status and transaction information necessary to provide the service.

8. Security Deposits

Some bookings may require a security deposit. The amount and method of handling the deposit may vary based on the vehicle, customer, booking, risk requirements, and applicable policies.

A security deposit is not automatically treated as rental revenue. Where applicable, it may be released or refunded following completion of the trip and the applicable inspection and settlement process.

9. Vehicle Condition and Inspections

Customers and hosts may be required to complete vehicle condition checks before and after a trip, including photographs, odometer readings, fuel or charge levels, and damage reporting.

Users must provide accurate information and must not conceal, alter, or deliberately misrepresent the condition of a vehicle.

10. Vehicle Use

Vehicles must be used lawfully, safely, and in accordance with the applicable vehicle, booking, and host requirements.

Prohibited activities may include unlawful use, dangerous driving, racing, unauthorised commercial use, sub-rental, transporting prohibited goods, tampering with vehicle systems, and allowing an unauthorised driver to operate the vehicle.

11. Pickup, Delivery and Collection

Depending on the booking, a vehicle may be collected by the customer, delivered by Rihfel, or delivered by an eligible host.

Delivery and collection charges, service areas, timings, and eligibility may vary and will be communicated during the booking process where applicable.

12. Cancellations, Refunds and Adjustments

Cancellations, refunds, booking modifications, and applicable charges are governed by the cancellation and refund policy applicable to the booking.

Where a refund is approved, processing times may depend on the payment method and third-party payment provider.

13. Protection and Insurance

Where Rihfel offers a protection product, the applicable coverage, exclusions, limits, customer contribution, and conditions will be communicated separately.

A Rihfel protection product should not be interpreted as an insurance policy unless it is expressly provided as insurance by an authorised insurance provider.

14. Hosts

Hosts who list vehicles through Rihfel must provide accurate vehicle information and maintain the vehicle in accordance with applicable legal, safety, registration, documentation, and platform requirements.

Additional obligations, earnings, fees, vehicle requirements, inspection standards, and settlement rules are governed by the applicable Host Agreement.

15. Communications and Support

Rihfel may communicate with users through email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app notifications, phone, or other permitted communication channels for service-related purposes.

Support may involve automated systems, including AI-assisted support, as well as human support personnel. Certain matters may be escalated for human review.

16. User Conduct

You must not misuse the Rihfel platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit fraudulent information, manipulate bookings, abuse promotions, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.

Rihfel may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where it reasonably believes that a user has violated applicable terms, policies, or legal requirements.

17. Intellectual Property

The Rihfel name, brand, website, software, designs, text, graphics, interfaces, and other platform content are owned by or licensed to Rihfel and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without appropriate permission.

18. Third-Party Services

Rihfel may use third-party providers for services such as identity verification, payments, communications, analytics, maps, hosting, customer support, and other infrastructure.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.

19. Availability of the Platform

Rihfel may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue portions of the platform or services for maintenance, operational, security, legal, technical, or other legitimate reasons.

We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rihfel's liability in connection with the platform and services will be governed by the specific booking, host, protection, and other applicable contractual terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

21. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Rihfel Privacy Policy.

22. Changes to these Terms

Rihfel may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published through the relevant Rihfel service and will identify the applicable version or update date.

Where required, users may be asked to accept updated terms before continuing to use particular services.

23. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable in India, subject to applicable consumer protection and other mandatory legal requirements.

Any dispute resolution mechanism, jurisdiction, arbitration arrangement, or applicable court jurisdiction will be specified in the final legally reviewed version of these Terms and the relevant booking or host agreement.
